Preet Kaur Gill MP, Labour’s Shadow Secretary of State for International Development, commenting ahead of the G20 health ministers meeting, said:

“To curb this global pandemic, it is vital that the world pulls together to create a vaccine, manufacture and distribute medical equipment and deliver supplies necessary for public health prevention.

“When the G20 health ministers meet they must ensure that the world’s most vulnerable are placed front and centre in their discussions, and that behind every decision made, there are policies put in place which guarantee availability, accessibility and affordability for those who need it most both in the UK and abroad.”
