Labour supports call for minute’s silence to honour workers who have died from coronavirus

Leader of the Labour Party Keir Starmer, responding to the call by Unison, the Royal College of Nursing and Royal College of Midwives for a minute’s silence to honour all workers who have died from coronavirus, said:

“Our key workers are literally putting their lives on the line in the fight against the coronavirus. They represent the best of us.

“That is why Labour wholeheartedly supports the call for a minute’s silence in honour of all those on the frontline who have died from coronavirus.”
